“Dreams, as we all know, are very curious things. They seem to be induced not by reason but by desire, not by the head but by the heart” Fyodor Dostoyevsky said.Given by the name, the World Cup is organized by the International Federation of Association Football. They’ve taken place since 1930 and happen to appear every four years in order to have enough time for their qualification tournaments and playoffs among each national soccer team against one another. In this year’s World Cup, 32 national soccer teams, around the world, have qualified since the previous 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. With each qualification, this determines who would be the world champion over the one month competition. This format allows us to visualize what group a-h is set up to have and to think about what it gives out a glorious chaos and fantastic stories to tell. Either raising our expectations high or low after the France win, here are the 32 national soccer teams qualified:
Group A:
Qatar Ecuador Netherlands Senegal
Group B: England Iran USA Wales
Group C: Argentina Saudi Arabia Mexico Poland
Group D: France Australia Denmark Tunisia
Group E:
Spain
Costa Rica Germany Japan
Group F: Belgium Canada Morocco Croatia
Group G: Brazil Serbia Cameroon Switzerland
Group H: Portugal Ghana Uruguay South Korea
Each team will play a vital role that consists of variety skills and teamwork into their own matches. There are big teams missing like Italy, Egypt, Nigeria, and Columbia to put out the
possibilities coming true or not. The first appearance will settle on Sunday, November 20 at 10
AM between Qatar and Ecuador. What’s nice is that a simple sport can bring many individuals unite and cherish the beautiful memories that will come along the way for a lifetime.
