December 5, 2022
“Dreams, as we all know, are very curious things. They seem to be induced not by reason but by
desire, not by the head but by the heart” Fyodor Dostoyevsky said.
Given by the name, the World Cup is organized by the International Federation of
Association Football. They’ve taken place since 1930 and happen to appear every four years in
order to have enough time for their qualification tournaments and playoffs among each national
soccer team against one another.
In this year’s World Cup, 32 national soccer teams, around the world, have qualified since
the previous 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. With each qualification, this determines who
would be the world champion over the one month competition.
