     Since 2018 is about to disappear and you’re probably stressed out about finals and need something to take your mind off of things, check out the top five best albums of 2018 while you’re at it. By the way, these aren’t in any specific order or range these are just the top five that have “bops”

 

“EVERYTHING IS LOVE” The Carters

 

This gem is obviously on the top list because of how iconic the duo of Beyonce and Jay Z is. Before “The Carters” was a thing Beyonce and Jay Z were just known by their own stage names. But then the couple realized two is better than one and became the musical duo and released their first album as the duo during the summer time. The album consists of 10 songs and one of them being “APES**T” in which was by far their most popular song in the album.

 

“Sweetener” Ariana Grande

 

The 25-year-old released her fourth album in August of 2018. The album really seemed to be personal to Grande because of the Album consisting of a song called “Pete Davidson” which is the name of her SNL comedian ex-fiance. The two got engaged and later broke off the wedding about a month later. Another personal song on the Sweetener album was “Get Well Soon” which was a tribute song to the victims of the Manchester bombing which occurred in May of 2017. 22 victims were lost that day during the concert.

 

“Suncity” Khalid

 

It’s clear to say that Khalid is one of the hot new artists this year. The “Young dumb and broke” singer dropped Suncity during October with seven songs on the extended play. Which include, 9.13, Vertigo, Saturday Nights, Salem’s Interlude, Motion, Better, and of course, Suncity.

 

“Aura” Ozuna

 

The Latin trap artist Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, or also known as, “Ozuna” released another album this past August with 20 songs featuring other popular artists like Cardi B. The Puerto Rican singer surely enough started to gain fame earlier these past years and has been compared to other Reggaeton artists like Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny.

 

“Bloom” Troye Sivan

 

The Aussie pop singer released his second album Bloom in August and consists of 10 songs. Many fans have pointed that this album was a more “darker” album than previous songs and some of the songs are more about metaphors. The album was nominated for many awards like ARIA Music Awards for Best Pop Release, ARIA Music Award for Album of the Year, and ARIA Music Award for Best Male Artist.
