Belvidere North Boys Cross Country have had five meets so far this season and are in search for their first win of the season with the Rock River Run in Sterling coming up on September 28. 

The Boys Cross Country team has 5-12 athletes  that run during each varsity meet.  Most races consist of about 10-50 teams and usually will have 70- 100 kids running.  Belvidere North’s top 10 Boys Cross Country runners are Nick Lenzen ‘(22), Caden Mcnulty(’22), Aiden Massman(’20), Josh Martinez, Zander Casis(’20), James Murphy(’20), Steve Brown(’20), Giovanni Mendoza(’20), and Soloman Foley(’19).

 In the NIC 10 Conference Preview, Belvidere North took second place out of eight teams. As Nick Lenzen led the team with a fourth place finish, his time was 16:31.1.  Behind him was Caden Mcnulty with a seventh place finish and he his time was 17:00.1. Aiden Massmen was third for the team and took tenth overall, with  a 17:24.6.

In the First to the Finish meet, Belvidere North took 17th place out of 59 schools.  Belvidere North was led by Caden Mcnulty with a finish of 53rd place. He had a time of 16:29.3.  Nick Lenzen was next to finish for Belvidere North as he finished 55th, with a time of 16:30.  

In the team’s past meet they had took 14th place out of 20 teams.  North was led by Aiden Massman, he had finished 72nd with a time of 17:39. This next weekend they are in Sterling at the Rock River meet.
