Recently on the news, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, is facing impeachment cases for trying to gain insight information on his upcoming presidential competitors Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.  Recent reports from CNN say that Donald Trump abused his power as President and tried to get information about Biden and son by calling the Ukrainian leader and trying to pressure him to gain the information. Trump was warned by Trump loyalists that if he did this that he would almost certainly be impeached, but he went through with it anyway.

After the incident in a press conference, Trump commented that he was trying to find out the name of the official who blew the whistle on his call and dealings with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which dug Trump an enormous hole. The person in charge of the impeachment case is Adam Schiff. Schiff is a U.S. representative in California who represents the Democratic party. He was made in charge by Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. Over the next year, these two, and the rest of the Democratic party, will be doing anything and everything they can to impeach President Trump.

Trump recently has been taking this issue to social media and throwing shade at the Decmocratic party for trying to impeach him. In the past week, he tweeted a picture of the electoral map with “try to impeach this” on it. That is just one of the many tweets that he has posted since this issue has risen.

Donald Trump’s term of office is set to end next year in November. There is a chance that he can fight this case until his term is up, but with everything going on there is almost a certainty that Trump will not get reelected after his four year term is up.
