Rapper Juice Wrld passed away at age 21. The circumstances surrounding the death of the young rapper remain under investigation. The gifted artist collapsed at Chicago’s Midway Airport. The death of the rapper is still waiting for the completion of the medical report. Juice Wrld’s name outside of the entertainment industry was Jared Higgins. Higgins was a rising star who landed a 3 million dollar deal with Interscope records earlier this year.

The rapper suffered massive convulsions and went into cardiac arrest as police and federal agents searched his belongings for drugs and guns a private hangar at Midway Airport. According to law enforcement sources the search yielded 41 vacuum sealed bags of marijuana, six bottles of prescription codeine cough syrup, three guns and high capacity ammunition. Two of Higgins’ security guards were charged with misdemeanor offenses for illegally carrying guns and ammunition. The examination into Higgins’ death included toxicology screens to determine what, if any, drugs were in his system. Police asked Higgins’ girlfriend at the scene if he had any drug problems. She replied “he takes Percocet (a painkiller) and had a drug problem. He was also very open with the media and in his music that he had an issue with drug abuse.

“Me talking about certain things can help somebody else through what they are going through, as well as me trying to figure it out myself,” he said. ” … There are other issues to talk about other than heartbreak. You got anxiety. You got substance abuse. There’s just a lot of issues in the world to talk about.” – Higgins states in an interview.
