North’s girls track team is working very hard this year and are working towards winning the NIC-10 Conference. North has had four indoor meets so far. They traveled to Auburn and placed 3rd out of 30 teams. Sarah Hulstdet broke the school record for shot put.

¨I’m feeling pretty good about this season. It just feels weird going from basketball to track, but I’m excited and being it my senior year it hasn’t hit me yet,” said Madison Diercks (´20).

On March 14,  they go to UOFI for a track meet that is overnight which is a good time for the team to all bond together.

¨I love the coaches and my teammates, there is a lot of conflict with the other teams in the school with gym space when practicing but we make it work and we work really hard,¨ said Anne Rutherford (´20).

The girls track team is working very hard to achieve their goals this season. So, good luck to the girls track team this season and keep up the good work. Important update –  all competitions are canceled until March 28 due to the Coronavirus.
